This User Agreement covers how you may use the Al Shawl House website and any account you create on it. It works alongside our Terms & Conditions (which cover orders, shipping, returns, and gift cards) and our Privacy Policy (which covers how we handle your data). By creating an account or using our site, you agree to all three.
You must be able to enter into a binding purchase agreement under the laws of the Sultanate of Oman to create an account or place an order. If you are creating an account on behalf of someone else, you confirm you have their permission to do so.

If you submit a product review, photo or other content, you confirm it is honest, based on your own experience, that you own it or have the right to share it, and that it doesn't infringe anyone's rights or contain anything unlawful, defamatory or abusive. You grant Al Shawl House a free, non-exclusive, worldwide licence to display, reproduce and adapt it (for example, resizing a photo) on our website and marketing channels, for as long as it is published. We may remove or decline to publish any content at our discretion.
All orders, payments, shipping, returns, and gift card terms are governed by our Terms & Conditions, not repeated here to avoid the two documents drifting out of sync with each other.
All content on this website — logos, photography, product descriptions, and designs — remains the property of Al Shawl House. Using our site doesn't grant you any ownership or licence over that content beyond what's needed to browse and shop normally.
You may stop using our site or close your account at any time by contacting Support. We may suspend or terminate your access to an account if we reasonably believe you've violated this Agreement, without affecting any orders already placed in good faith.
By creating an account or placing an order you agree that we may contact you electronically — by email, WhatsApp or on-site notices — about your account, orders, returns, gift cards and sign-in codes. These are service messages and are not marketing; we send marketing only if you ask for it.
Our site and its features (including AI Search) are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do our best to keep product information, colours, availability and search results accurate but — given the handmade, one-of-a-kind nature of our pieces and differences between screens — we can't guarantee they will always be perfectly precise, or that the site will always be uninterrupted or error-free.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Al Shawl House is not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of the site, and our total liability connected with the site is limited to the amount you paid us for the relevant order. Nothing in this Agreement limits rights you have under Omani consumer protection law that cannot lawfully be limited.
This Agreement is governed by the laws of the Sultanate of Oman, and the competent courts of the Sultanate of Oman have jurisdiction. If any part of it is found unenforceable, the rest stays in effect, and our not enforcing a right straight away is not a waiver of it.
We may update this Agreement from time to time. Continued use of our site after an update means you accept the revised terms. The "Last updated" date above always reflects the most recent version.
